Bob Torre is one of our most experienced technicians. A San Francisco native, he got his start in the plumbing and mechanical field as a member of the U.S. Navy in 1977. When he’s not working here at Cabrillo, Bob is an avid volunteer. He promotes health and fitness wherever he goes, and enjoys spending time with the elderly at convalescent homes.

Q – How would you explain the Cabrillo slogan, “The people you want in your home” to someone that asks?

It’s really about respect. When people call us they know the person who comes out will respect them, their home and their property. We want to do the right thing for our customers and want to make sure they feel like they made the right decision when they called us. I know I get attached to the people I work for – I think they feel that attachment too.

Q – What do you like best about working at Cabrillo?

Well that’s hard to say because there’s so much I like about it. I guess the number one thing is, I think the people are great – they’re really nice. I also feel like I can trust everybody here – personally and professionally. Being kind of a perfectionist, I always want to make sure everything’s done just so. It was liberating when I learned I could let someone else finish a job of mine and know it would be done right.
